Besides, if we could see a revisit of the kind of bond Sally and Saul had with their namesakes, I don’t think this latest revision of history could be all that bad. The sudden extension of Saul’s family tree to include a grandson might be a bit hard to swallow for even the most accepting B&B fan, but after the addition of the flashbacks with Saul and Sally I may have shed a few happy tears. The majority of them have the same, or very similar names to the characters they seem to be based off. The writers seem to be heavily influenced by the past when it comes to the new faces of Spectra Fashions. and Sally are both familiar with their extended family. If Bill Spencer can have a steady supply of illegitimate sons he never knew existed, I can believe that C.J. Having Sally II or NuSally a part of the Spectra extended family is believable enough for me. is too young to have a daughter old enough.

A random child of deceased and childless Macy would have been a stretch, and C.J. I can believe that Sally had a sister back in her home town. Relating these new characters to the original Spectra family so far has been great. It was only fitting for my all-time favourite character of B&B (yes, more than Thomas) returned to our screens to hand-over the reigns of the dilapidated building. Interestingly family-wise, Forrester Creations was plagued with infighting, power plays and betrayal. What they lacked in wealth, they made up for in tenacity. Jackie M and Forrester Originals failed because they did not offer enough of a contrast because they were too similar to Forrester Creations.īusiness-wise Forrester Creations displayed prestigious hand-made couture, where Spectra Fashions specialty was underhanded Fast Fashion, taking on any trend and knocking-off the competition. We had Jackie M’s Fashion House, we had Forrester Originals, but they did not capture the magic of Spectra Fashions, and eventually died out. Until now!
